Trading as Sturdy Framac
One of Australia's leading commercial chair manufacturing
companies, Sturdy Framac has remained in Australian ownership since
its inception
in 1968 and remains so today under its current owner, Don Denny
who purchased the Company in 1987.
Operating from over 7,000 square metre facility in Sydney, with joint
ownership of manufacturing facilities in Brisbane and Perth. Sturdy
Framac is also represented in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Hobart and
have a showroom in Canberra and Newcastle.
Sturdy Framac has been a Federal Government endorsed supplier since
March 1999, the holder of Certificate No. 703., and also a major supplier
of the NSW Government General Seating Contract No. 300
Sturdy Framac is accredited under ISO 9001: 2000 which ensures that
the design, manufacture and after sales service are of the highest
quality.
Sturdy Framac are a supporter of AFRDI and possibly have the greatest
range of accredited chairs in Australia. All Sturdy Framac manufactured
chairs carry a 5-year warranty.
Certificates and Qualifications
5-year warranty
Sturdy/Framac will repair or replace any chair that is found to be faulty, either
in workmanship or material under normal use, for a period of up to 5 years. Upholstery
coverings and gas springs are excluded, being covered by their original manufacturer's
warranty. Extended shifts, where the chair is in continual use, will reduced
the warranty to a period of 2 years.
AFRDI
Our policy is to test our popular chairs to Australian Standards and obtain
the Blue Tick approval from AFRDI, which ensures continuing compliance. Some
options may not strictly comply with the standard. If in doubt, please ask.
Quality assurance
Sturdy/Framac is accredited under AS/NZS ISO9001 (license no: 719). It is our
policy to supply products and services at an economic price and to a standard
which conforms to contractual and regulatory requirements and which meets
the quality standards required by our customers.
Government endorsed supplier
Sturdy Framac has been a Government endorsed supplier since March 1999, (certificate
no: 703).
NSW state contract 004/300
Sturdy Framac are honoured to supply this catalogue containing our latest range
of chairs accepted on Contract 004/300. We look forward to supplying chairs
throughout the life of this contract and beyond.
